Dry Hire Venue
Hiring includes:
- Total exclusivity of Upper Meadow Barn for the day, one week before to decorate and arrange furniture and two days after to clean up.
- A generator to power the electric at the barn
- Toilets – there are no fitted toilets yet but we will organise hire toilets
- 14 acres of farm grounds within an area of outstanding natural beauty
- Field for parking
- Field for camping/ caravans
- Own private access drive
- A member of the family to be on hand during the day to help with any assistance
- Waste Disposal
- WIFI router
Added Extras:
- Parque Dance Floor – £100
- Wooden Bar – £100
- Chair hire – £2per chair
- Round & Trestle Table hire – £5 per table
- White Tablecloths – £10 each
- 2 x Peacock Chairs – £20 for the pair
You will need to hire your own outdoor caterer and a mobile bar company for our venue. And if you need a larger venue a marquee can easily be attached to the side of the barn. We can recommend suppliers for all of these.
At present we do not carry a license to legally hold marriage ceremonies but there are plenty of churches in the area and Shrewsbury registry office not far away. However, you are welcome to have a humanist ceremony with a blessing.
We require you to come and clean up after yourself following your event, you will need to leave it exactly how you found it please. This may require putting tables and chairs back and mopping/ sweeping of floors.
